How Hidden Cost Calculator handles information.

Last updated: October 11, 2026.

Calculator inputs and saved information

Hidden Cost Calculator’s free tools process the values you enter using code in your browser. The calculator code does not send your expense names, balances, income or other calculator entries to a server to perform the calculation. You do not need an account, a bank connection or an uploaded statement.

Expense and subscription lists are held only on the open page. This version does not create a saved expense list or saved scenario. Reloading a calculator or using Reset restores its starting inputs. These statements describe the calculator features; hosting and advertising services can process technical information about a page visit as described below.

Hosting and technical information

The website is hosted using Cloudflare Pages. When your browser requests a page, hosting and security services can process technical information such as your IP address, requested URL, browser information and request time to deliver the website, maintain security and measure service activity. See Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy for information about its processing.

Google advertising and cookies

This website includes Google AdSense code to support advertising. Google and other advertising vendors may place or read cookies, use web beacons, IP addresses or other identifiers, and receive information about your visit. This information can be used to deliver and measure ads, limit repeated ads and help prevent fraud.

Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your previous visits to this website or other websites. Google’s advertising cookies allow Google and its partners to serve personalized ads based on visits to this and other sites on the Internet, subject to applicable settings and consent choices. Other vendors or ad networks participating in Google’s advertising services may also use cookies or similar technologies.

See how Google uses information from sites that use its services and Google’s Privacy Policy. Google publishes information about third-party ad vendors; the services involved in a particular ad can vary.

Your advertising and cookie choices

You can manage or turn off Google personalized advertising through My Ad Center. You can also explore participating vendors’ advertising choices at the Digital Advertising Alliance’s opt-out page. These controls do not necessarily remove advertising or prevent all technical data processing.

Your browser settings can block or delete cookies. Some advertising choices are specific to a browser or device and may need to be set again after cookies are cleared. Where a consent or privacy message is presented, use its available controls to make your choices. Consent messages and advertising options can vary by region and account configuration.

Links to other websites

Our guidance includes links to external resources. If you follow one, that website’s own privacy practices apply. We do not control those websites.

Future features and policy changes

Pro features are described as coming soon. This version has no Pro account registration or payment collection. If saved scenarios, accounts, payments or additional data services are introduced, this policy will be revised to explain their information handling. The date above identifies the latest revision of this policy.
